This is to alert you of audio and video compatibility issues between the Google Chrome version 132 and our Live Assist On-Premise software FCSDK version 3.7.1 and earlier.
Due to changes introduced in Chrome 132, some video and audio communication issues may arise when using our software depending on your environment and use of Chrome 132. We understand how critical uninterrupted functionality is for your operations, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please note this does affect the Audio or Video call if either the agent or the customer is using Chrome version 132.
Furthermore, Beta version 133 of Chrome is working normally and as expected with our software. Stable version of Chrome 133 is expected for release worldwide on the 4th of February.
We have a fix which required updating a library within our FCSDK related to the Media broker. FCSDK version 3.7.2 is currently undergoing our QA process and we aim to have this released by the 24th of January.
In the meantime, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we address the problem. If possible, we recommend using a previous version of Chrome (131 or below) to minimize disruption until we deliver the necessary update.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team using support@cbaliveassist.com
Please note, that once the fix is provided, you will be required to upgrade your server version of FCSDK if you wish Chrome 132 to work within your environment.
Thank you for your valued support and communication,
