Using Fiddler to capture HTTPS traffic

To record network traffic between your client and our servers.

Start the recording a few seconds before you start the replication of the issue. Stop the recording a few seconds after completing the replication.

The following steps will guide you through the procedure:

  1. Download Fiddler from the following location:
    http://www.telerik.com/download/fiddler/fiddler4
  2. Install Fiddler:

  3. Enable Decrypt HTTPS traffic:

  4. Allow fiddler's certificate if a message pops up:

  5. Start capturing the network traffic:

  6. Replicate the issue while capturing the network traffic.
  7. Once you have finished replicating the issue - save the network traffic logs:

  8. Send the logs to Live Person.
